At BeatSarcoma we recognize your right to confidentiality and are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not give, sell, rent, or loan any identifiable personal information to any third party, unless approved or requested by you, or unless we are legally required to do so. We may distribute your email address and name to external service(s) who would manage communication for us. They will not sell or distribute your information to any other party. You will always have the option to unsubscribe from such services. Instructions to unsubscribe will be included in each message. We may share non-personal, summary or aggregate customer data with certain partners and other third parties.
Google Analytics
Our blogs employ Google Analytics to ascertain the relative success of our various events and informational posts. Through cookies and other means, Google collects and retains detailed information on the access history of individual viewers of this website, to include IP address, geographic information, particular pages visited, other connection details such as the page a visitor came to BeatSarcoma from, the link followed away from BeatSarcoma, and information on the computer and browser being used.
To our knowledge, Google Analytics (like many online analytics services) does not have a privacy policy addressed to site visitors. However, Google does make some commitments to BeatSarcoma regarding disclosure of visitor data to third parties in the Google-Analytics TOS, section 6, at the time of this writing located at:

Direct Donations to Stanford
Please note that for all direct donations to Stanford, the Stanford Privacy Policy applies. You can access this policy here.
In particular, if you do not want Stanford to share your information with its business partners so that they can offer you their services or products, you need to request to be opted out of any or all of these commmunications by e-mailing alumni-information@lists.stanford.edu. You will need to specify which types of communication (e-mail, regular mail, telephone calls, etc.) you no longer wish to receive.

Other Third Parties
Additional entities such as your own ISP and our webhost (GoDaddy) may
also collect traffic data at varying levels of detail. Some web analytics services may be able to track your activities here even after leaving their site and navigating to ours. We do our best to work with reputable companies for services such as hosting but only have explicit agreements with those specifically mentioned in the previous sections. We encourage our visitors to be aware of tools such as cookies+javascript and the various ways in which they can protect their privacy online: privacy settings in their browsers, "hosts" and PAC files used to null route traffic to undesired third parties, local proxies, and other means.
