20% of childhood cancers are sarcomas
They affect also many young adults. Sarcoma destroys so many lives before they have had time to blossom.
Sarcoma gets less than 1% of cancer research funds
Sarcoma research is lagging behind that of other cancers.

Unfortunately Sarcoma Cup 2013 will not happen due to a direct conflict with the America's Cup. We look forward to seeing all the racers again in 2014

Bring more research focus
Welcome to BeatSarcoma, a volunteer initiative launched in July 2007. Our mission is to raise funds for sarcoma-specific research and to support anyone who is dealing with sarcoma. We work directly with clinicians and researchers to identify un-funded high priority and high impact research relevant to sarcoma. This area of cancer research is still in its infancy so every dollar will yield A LOT of results. We are going to beat sarcoma.
- BeatSarcoma intends to fund Sarcoma Research projects at major medical centers and give the disease more of the focus it needs and patients the hope they deserve.
- 100% of money raised by BeatSarcoma goes to research
If you are a sarcoma patient or survivor, you can actively support sarcoma research and benefit from one of the largest online sarcoma communities - for free and at no risk. Join the 23andMe sarcoma research program.

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with a sarcoma, we urge you to consult an expert who sees many Sarcoma patients each month. Such doctors are found at specialist hospitals particularly NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. For a list of such centers, click here. http://cancercenters.cancer.gov/cancer_centers/index.html
